To obtain your provisional category C licence you must undertake a medical.
It is required that you renew your HGV medical at the age of 45. After 45 you will have to renew it every 5 years. At 65 the HGV medical becomes an annual requirement.
Please note that it is your responsibility to check that it is acceptable for a doctor other than your own GP to complete the form with the licensing authority.
